Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018 opened on a high note and only got better, come day three. Between the likes of Gaurang Shah’s jaw-dropping summer staples to add to your ethnic wardrobe and Tarun Tahiliani’s celestial bliss, day 3 of fashion week was thrice as nice, literally! Read on to catch up on all the looks that had us drooling at “get, set, Go!”

  1. Gaurang Shah

Trust the designer to make indigo your go-to colour this season in a summer-ready collection that will make you want to live in your Lehengas. Tones of Blue painted the runway in a combination of brocade enhanced by traditional motifs set against the light ivory palette. Lehengas in Ivory white, Bandhgalas in powder blue and Tie & Dye sarees together culminated in the gist of this summer collection!

2. Amoh by Jade

The designer duo struck gold with their summer- ready resort collection by adorning models in silhouettes that spelled summer with their easy flair and laid-back extravagance in terms of the drapes. Combine that with a beige-dominant color palette, and here is a collection that is easily the first on our sight-for-sore-eyes radar!

3. Khanijo

Aptly named Circa Malgudi, the designer’s interpretation of the Modern day Malgudi across his collection was a display of contemporary silhouettes infused with an Indian touch. The line consisted of smart work-wear separates paired with a color-rich palette of pastels against strong solids that surely amped up the IT factor of the collection.

Trust Falguni & Shane Peacock to literally throw it out of the park with their over-the-top launch of the Menswear Line. A star-studded runway saw the likes of bollywood big wigs  Karan Johar and Sonakshi Sinha sashay down the ramp along with models adorned in luxe suits, fringed feather throws and boldly embellished accessories. The designer Duo surely raised the bar for high-end designer menswear this season with their jewel-toned color palette and bold embellishments.
